Lucketts Junior Member Graduates from EMT Training (read more . . .)

The Lucketts Volunteer Fire Company is proud to recognize the outstanding achievement of Gia Irudhayanathan, a Junior Member who has successfully completed a Summer Intensive EMT course and earned her Emergency Medical Technician certification.

Completing an EMT program, especially in an accelerated summer format, demands discipline, resilience, and a genuine commitment to service. Over the course of the program, Gia mastered a wide range of critical skills, from patient assessment and airway management to trauma care and medical emergencies, all while balancing the academic rigor and practical demands of EMS training.

A proud moment for the LVFC team: Assistant Chief / President James Csizmadia and Vice President George VanTassel congratulate Gia Irudhayanathan following her EMT graduation ceremony.

Gia’s graduation represents more than a certification: it marks the beginning of a pathway of service, leadership, and lifelong learning in emergency medicine. As she continues her journey with the company, she serves as an example to other junior members who aspire to step into operational roles and make a tangible difference in their community.

Please join us in congratulating Gia Irudhayanathan on this impressive milestone. We are excited to see the impact she will have as she continues to grow as an EMT and as a member of the Lucketts Volunteer Fire Company.
